Special mention of our friend Kevin from “The Extra Mile Podcast” and Adam from “Another Runner.”

In the tradition of Steve Runner (and his “Intervals”) and Dr. Monte (”Short run”) I decided to put out a shortened version of the podcast since I don’t have time to finish up Episode 14 (but it is coming soon).
It is a short version I may do in a pinch in between full episodes.
Let me know what you think!
Music is Michael Mucklow’s Pipe’s Canyon Sunset.
Enjoy….

Welcome to another episode of Running Adventures!
Episode 13 of Running Adventures is a bit shorter than recent episodes and begins with a trip to the craft store to buy knitting supplies for my older daughter. I run a somewhat warm and tiring 6 miler, with shout outs to Susan and Petra. My older daughter shares her usual variety of facts while talking about her new knitting hobby.
Featured music this week from the Podshow Podsafe Music Network was “John O’Dreams” by Jim Fidler and “Something Good” by Jupiter and Teardrop / Geoff Martyn.
The opening music is “Super Soul” by 4saizons and the closing music is from “Adventures of a Deaf Dreamer” by Josh Woodward.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: I don’t usually make a big deal about my podcast…I don’t advertise or ask for votes or comments. They really aren’t important to me. But my next planned podcast, Episode 14, will mark my 1 year anniversary as a podcaster - and I would love for you all to be a part of it! Please send me your audio comments or email comments to marathonchris@gmail.com and I will include them in the podcast. My plan podcast release date is the weekend of March 7-9, so I will need your input no later than March 5th or 6th to include them. This will be a fun episode to put together! And thanks in advance for your inputs.
Have a great adventure in the coming week!

Sandhill Cranes
Welcome to another episode of Running Adventures!
Episode 11 of Running Adventures begins with a walk with my younger daughter who helps us understand that everyday is Christmas. I have an opportunity to help the local Sandhill Cranes, and my older daughter takes on Adam Tinkoff’s challenge and shares three people facts.
Since I haven’t been publishing podcasts in awhile (but have continued to record with my iRiver) some of the recordings are a little dated. This episode references the Great Dolphin Run, my running of the OUC Half Marathon and features my first run after completing the Disney Marathon.
Featured music this week from the Podshow Podsafe Music Network was “Convertable” by Michael Mucklow
The opening music is “Super Soul” by 4saizons and the closing music is from “Adventures of a Deaf Dreamer” by Josh Woodward.

This edition of Running Adventures takes you along on morning carpool, a walk through the neighborhood, and, of course, some running. Not the usual long run recording….due to technical and operator difficulties, I lost some long run audio - but never fear, there is plenty of running.
The results of last podcast’s quiz are in. Maddy had the answer that Carolyn was thinking of. Kevin gave an alternative and valid answer as well. Thanks for playing!!!
A focus in this episode is my quest to run the Phedippidations World Wide Half Marathon while considering a young friend, Elijah Talley, who is battling neuroblastoma. He has a website where his family journal’s his progress as he undergoes his second round of chemo. At the end of the podcast I have a shout out just for Elijah.
Featured music this week from the Podshow Podsafe Music Network includes:
“Flow on Waterford River” by Jim Fidler
“Someday” by Katy Pfaffl
“Canyon Serenade” by Michael Mucklow (for the Elijah Shoutout)
The opening music is “Super soul” by 4saisonz and the closing theme is “Adventures of the Deaf Dreamer” by Josh Woodward.
Have a great adventure in the coming week!
